Wow, people actually voted for this guy? I mean Bush gets slammed every time he makes a gaff, but people forget who they wanted in his place....wow

Perhaps Kerry is overrated as a debater. Much of winning a debate is making your points with style and confidence. Actual content matters, but a self-assured, charasmatic persona is what truly makes people join your wagon. Truth be told, Kerry's content wasn't always perfectly laid out, nor did it always inspire people to join his wagon. In both presidential primaries and through a campaign, we probably need more occasions when the teleprompters and prepared soundbytes are taken away, and we get the opportunity to listen for actual content from our presidential candidates. Elimate the candidates Survivor style, if it gets people to pay attention during primaries. You'll catch mini-gaffes from every candidate. It's up to all of us to ask, Is this truly the best my political party has to offer? And if not, who truly has the most dynamic and complete vision and the know-how to get my country where it needs to be?

And his assistant immediately whispers in his ear, But, Mr. Kerry; you're running for president of the United States - not president of one of the networks.

I'm glad to see that politicians are standing up for what they believe in. In Kerry's case, he wants a balance between violence and sex! Maybe both at the same time too! See, its just too easy for the Republicans to attack Democrats. They open themselves up to it.

Ah yes, the eternal 'struggle'

What the hack does this mean? Is it him or is it me?

Wow, even I have to admit that this one is pretty strange. Then again, Kerry made has made it a perpetual habit to stick his foot in his mouth.

Sounds like a line from Bill Clinton's book My Life.

If Bush would have said this it would have been the headline topic for the New York Times.

I will stand up and struggle, as others have, to try to get that right balance between violence, and sex, ... and things. -- Sex, violence, and...things. Like SUVs and Botox injections?
