Please. Bill Clinton would crush dubya in an election today. The 90's kicked ass, Slick-Billy-bastard left all of his opponents in a ditch and people still like him. .. get the hell over it.

Yes, the president should resign. He has lied to the American people, time and time again, and betrayed their trust. Since he has admitted guilt, there is no reason to put the American people through an impeachment. He will serve absolutely no purpose in finishing out his term the only possible solution is for the president to save some dignity and resign. -- And Nixon didn't even get a bj out of the deal. --- It has nothing to do with this question, but... The Downing Street memo proves jack. People have been desperatly digging for something to hang on President Bush from the first day he took office. All the other crap fell short, this will fall short too. It's basing a hell of a lot on a single phrase in a single memo, especially when you don't even know who wrote it. As far as that goes, it's basing a hell of a lot on a single WORD in a single memo. Still, everyone chooses to ignore the person they want to glorify (Clinton) because he didn't say what they wanted to hear about WMDs. Just for the record, I personally don't mean to make Clinton out to be the devil incarnate, I'm just pointing out that he lied, about a lot more than sex, and that seems to be perfectly alright with some people. Nixon lied and he's demonized.

Bill didn't REALLY lie; he just needed a little more time to redefine all those pesky words.

Ironic and prophetic, to say the least. Then again, we wouldn't actually expect a politician to hold himself to his own standard, would we? That would be a sign of integrity.
