When I was nineteen years old, I was semi homeless for a while and slept in the riverbed with the hobos. It was just for a short while, but it never occured to me to ask anyone for a place to stay. Once I got on my feet, I never again needed a place to stay, other than my own home. I have at times let certain family mambers live with me. And I have let more than a few friends stay with me for a short while. I would rather be homeless, myself, than impose myself on someone.
