Imagine what a repetitively permanent part of our culture, courtesy of Newsweek, the NY Times and CBS, this would have been had it been uttered by Dan Quayle (or Ronald Reagan!) You would never hear the end of it. The ACLU would be saying, Please, for the love of G*d, STOP!!!
