an almost four. Roseanne was good the first few seasons. { i did not like the last two seasons} the first four or five were good. I liked that it was about a family that would be consdired "lower class" they were not rich, they Did not live in a huge expensive home. this was a family that struggled to make ends meet, even worried about how they were going to pay their bills, they kids were not perfect. and thank goodess for once the parents looked like regular people,so what if they were overweight? It could be easier to relate to this family. it was more honest. with real problems. and it could be funny.

I thought this was very funny most of the time and that the cast was great.So many people hate Barr because she is fat and tells it like it is.They just can't stand a strong,no B.S. woman.I think she is down to earth,smart as a whip and outrageously witty.Her show portrayed lower middle class America unflinchingly,and John Goodman is one of the best comic actors alive.

Plant this show firmly at the bottom of the list! This hogger was a disgrace.
