If there was ever a more long, boring, drawn out, over hyped, tedious media event than this, I can't even imagine. I was so sick of turning on the news and seeing the latest accusation, or footage of a trial that nothing was accomplished.

Had to rate it Bad! He-he-he. In actuality its one of the imfamous moments that I'll always remember but it wasn't really important. Just another celebrity paying his way out of a crime.

Big story? A child molester got off (won his legal case, I mean) because his accusers were habitual gold-diggers and the DA had insufficient evidence? In California? Has anyone been found guilty of any crime in California in the past 15 years? It's hard to find a bigger news story than that. The young people interviewed, speaking in his defense outside the courthouse, should be treated to viewing the videotape of their comments years from now when THEIR children turn 8, and begin to catch Michael's eye.

I'm told that (per his website) he's equating his exoneration to the freeing of Nelson Mandela.. among other important events in black history. His ordeal has obviously not affected his ego. Here's hoping he doesn't celebrate by getting yet another new body part.

But for the 24 hour a day news channels, this would be merely a public posterior protruding pimple!
