The steroids controversy has been way overblown by the American media. This is not a story that directly involves many people in this country, but the public is made to believe that a few professional atheletes using illegal supplements or drugs will ruin sports or negatively influence children. In a competitive environment such as athletics, there will always be people who cut corners to gain an advantage.

Like anybody with two brain cells to rub together can't tell just by looking at todays baseball players (who look more like pro-wrestlers or football players and almost ALL are using roids,no matter what they say or supposedly test for!) Boy,are the masses good at living in DENIAL lately....

Pretty big deal if you are a baseball fan, but really only confirms what a lot of people assumed already. Since it came out and the rules have changed, a handful of no names have gotten introuble for steroids, but nothing major. If Bonds weren't sitting out? Who knows?
