 | badgersmount (0) 07/17/2008 | a self promoting lady that enjoyed a playboy lifestyle. she did more harm than good to Britain.
Before any American says anything negative about the Royal family, stop! We don't care. Go and whoop and cheer for Opra or Cruise.

 | LadyJesusFan777 (38) 05/03/2007 | I think she had a very hard life, and it is very sad to see such hateful things said about her.

 | irishgit (155) 05/03/2007 | Her early death has given her a lustre she did not earn.
A shallow, self-serving and self indulgent woman.

 | Polina (2) 05/03/2007 | Was she the kind of princess like the one in the fairy tale who complained of a sleepless night because she was so delicate she could feel the pea (an uncooked frozen one oviously) that some wag had put under her 20 mattresses? I always think that woman in the story may well have been a true princess but was no lady! What a bloody whinger! I hope Di was a better person than that. She certainly made a mistake about marrying into that horrible dysfunctional family. Now her sons are being brought up in it - no hope for them at all now. They will be fully paid up members of that hunting, shooting, fishing bunch of neanderthals. Poor Di.

 | GenghisTheHun (179) 05/03/2007 | If you are a republican (small r) you gotta love her. She did more to harm the monarchy than a dozen Robespierres!

 | heartlessbitch (0) 11/26/2005 | Diana was beautiful, gracious, compassionate, and overall, an amazing woman. What Prince Charles (and ultimately, the system) did to her was appalling. One can only imagine her torment and heartbreak at his infidelity and having him rubbing her nose in Camilla. In spite of all that, she stayed married to Charles for fifteen years, produced two beautiful boys, and left a mark that forever changed the Royal Family.

 | caligula (2) 11/09/2005 | She certainly looked the part. She was OK in her charity work, but I always got the impression she was an empty headed brat.

 | sfalconer (22) 10/23/2005 | The worst mistake this poor woman ever made was getting involved with Prince Chuck. She was the best thing that happened to him and to the Royal family and they used her, then tossed her a side. She was not prepared for the life that she was thrown into and never really fit in. If all royality were like this late Princess there would be many more monarchies then there are today. She truely was a Princess that the world had not seen in a long time and probably never will again.

 | scarletfeather (53) 10/22/2005 | GoneAway really nailed it in her review of Princess Diana. She had a hard and sad life, and I felt very sorry for her. I think part of the reason she was resented by the Royal Family is because they could see she outclassed them in so many ways. Yes, she did cheat on Prince Charles, but he was running around with that ole hag Camilla. So it's hard to blame her for seeking love and affection wherever she could. She came from a very aristocratic background, but she seemed to empathize with those who were infirm or otherwise unfortunate. I really cried when she died, not only because I felt so sorry for her sons losing their beloved mother, but because I really ached for Princess Diana. She was such a lovely person and she deserved better than she got.
