If you could get him to open up, this would REALLY be interesting. He had the goods on everyone. As to the libel about dressing in drag, the source of that is Nicolas Von Hoffman and is uncorroborated. I think it is false and deliberately used to blacken Hoover's memory.

Bigoted fascists seldom have anything of true interest to impart, so I'd take a pass on a chance to interview this creep. America's version of Lavrenty Beria, although Hoover always looked better in black lace and pearls. I mean, what could I say to J. Edgar? So, Mr. Hoover, what do you see fashions doing this fall? Do you see hemlines going up or down?
