I myself would love to be movie-star thin, but not by flies and maggots wanting to feast on me....It's a justifiable statement, in my book. I like her and give thumbs up to this statement! Blaming Mariah Carey for this is like blaming any other celebrity for a late-night comedy sketch.

07/13/2005 | Even if she didn't say this, nether the less, it is still a dumb thing to say. For anyone to make a statement like this shows a lack of maturity, and they think they are being funny ie inappropriate humour. It also shows someone who is obsessed with thier looks. If anything, I am more angered by that statement.

06/21/2005 | This one seemed a bit out there, even for Ms. Carey, I double checked and found this is a completely false statement that had no true source at all and was quoted in several tabloids and newspapers. She never said it.
