07/08/2005 | And outside of the crack cocaine, Marion Barry never had a drug problem. Most of America wondered how Barry could be re-elected mayor of DC despite tales of drug use and womanizing. But if you think about it, Barry is not the only politician to whom the public has chosen to dismiss a checkered past.
