 | CastleBee (85) 07/06/2005 | Many years ago - in the early days of hubby Bill's presidency - I heard a remark made by Hills to the effect that since the elderly had basically outlived their usefulness to society it shouldnt be a top priority to keep them alive if and when they are in need of various expensive major medical procedures. She, of course, didn't say it in exactly those words. But, her meaning was clear; once you achieve a certain age and arent able to be out there working 50 hours a week, then you have lost your intrinsic value and may as well be put on an iceberg and shoved out to sea. How much more useless would she find someone in Terry Schiavos state?
