No big deal.  I know how to pass people.

Speed limits are not minimums.

60 in a 55 is reasonable, but so is 45 in a 55.

Relax, enjoy the ride, and pass when it's safe to do so.

My dad has tolerated this numerous times.  They're usually elderly people or those new to the area.  Either way, LEARN TO DRIVE!

I wish everyone would drive slower. I drive the speed limit and hope I annoy the hell out of people who think where they have to be is far more important than everyone elses safety. I can't believe we are such a brain dead culture that people don't even obey road laws.
Driving under the speed limit is not illegal, driving over is. The set speed limit everywhere is not mandatory, most highways and freeways have a minumum speed as well.
Driving over the speed limit is illegal. It is also stupid and dangerous.

Could be worse. My friend and I got caught in some woman's attempt at insurance fraud. She purposely PARKED her car on top of a bridge, and waited for someone to hit her. Luckily, we had just gotten out of a 2 hour traffic jam and were only going about 35 when we slammed on the brakes and barely tapped her back-end. Her scam didn't work, but she was never caught either unfortunately.

People who drive slowly are more likely to cause a car crash than someone who drives too fast and EVERYONE is trying to overtake them. I've known driving examiners to fail drivers if they drive too slow.

One thing that I used to run into in NY is people doing this and then as you go to pass them, they speed up making it impossible and when you fall back behind them, they go back to the slow speed again. THAT's ANNOYING!!!!

This kind of thing happens far too often here in the area of Pennsylvania I live in. What is super-annoying is when the offending driver feels compelled to apply his (or her) brakes on an upgrade. If you ever visit Chester County, PA, just resign yourselves to what my wife and I refer to as the PAPA drivers(Pennsylvania pokey-ass drivers).

Not all that annoying. They make passing lanes for just that situation. It would be an altogether different level of annoying if someone were going 45 in said passing lanes, however.
