Wow, what a game! I had a bad feeling going in to it, but it was one for the ages. Back and forth, the flow was. Something like 20 different ties or lead changes. Rasheed was in foul trouble for most of the game and that became a contributing factor in their defeat, I believe. The Spurs also were able to negate the effectiveness of Rips mid-range jumper and Chaunceys' ability to penetrate the post at will like he did in games 3-4. But these two teams were just too much alike, and it was just a matter of the Spurs more gathered approach to this game, they were hugrier than the Pistons, they had a little bit more at the end. Not to mention a nasty little perimeter shooter by the name of Robert FREEKIN' Horry!.....but I digress. I absolutely hate the outcome, but I thought it was a classic.
