 | GenghisTheHun (177) 01/29/2008 | Lots of Manxmen emigrated to the USA, but they spoke English and blended in with the rest of the Anglo-Saxon stock.
They originate from the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea.
The original Manx language was a Celtic language, but could not withstand the force of English.

 | Daccory (15) 02/10/2006 | Manxmen come from The Isle of Man located in the Irish Sea between Britain and Ireland, they had their own language until pretty recently and there are few native speakers. It's a rugged, beautiful place. A Manx cat is a native cat that has no tail.
