04/11/2006 | Although many called Slavic Czechs from Bohemia, Bohemians, this term really means German speakers from Bohemia. Many thousands emigrated to the USA and several communities exist in the USA. New Ulm, Minnesota, is one example. This is a very sturdy and industrious people.

02/20/2006 | Thats interesting Genghis. I always wondered exactly what that term lent to although I knew that it was attached to immigrant whites of a certain kind. My home state here in Texas was settles in a great deal by this group and its cultures is what makes Texas so alive and fun.
