 | Drummond (60) 12/21/2005 | Sorry, but Lewis was a spaz. Not funny. And Martin was a drunk, which came out in some of his work.

 | ma duron (63) 09/29/2005 | A phenomenon that was unprecedently successful among most post-WW2 audiences in all media, from cabaret to the stage and movies. Their appeal might have run its course by the mid-fifties.

 | texasyankee (22) 06/27/2005 | I always enjoyed these two. But I didn't get to watch them until the 70s, another popular Saturday afternoon show.

 | GenghisTheHun (177) 06/27/2005 | They were huge in their time and funny. The humor has not worn well in our cynical age.

 | Randyman (109) 06/25/2005 | I thought they worked so well together. Dean Martin went on to a an greater career, but in my opinion Jerry Lewis never quite did as well, when this great team split up. I'm glad they had a chance to reconcile, before martin's death several years ago. At their peak in the Forties they were the biggest thing at the movies.
