And add Rob Reiner. It'll be a long time before television allows a situation comedy with the kind of depth this show had.

Arcie and Edith Bunker made us all laugh at things usually uncomfortable to look at,look at ourselves and our neighbors in a new light and showed us the shadows without scaring the poop out of us.They were both immensely talented,and the material was usually well written.
