03/26/2006 | At work, I'm often seen zipping around, carrying a stack of something or another (files, clipboard, office supplies, notes, etc.), stopping at any phone to answer it, taking more stuff from co-workers, and zipping back up to the front reception area, which is my little "realm". As much as I scamper around from room to room, it's sometimes assumed that I'm looking for something (sometimes that's the case, more likely is that I actually do have to visit each and every stop I go to), and someone asks "Looking for something?"
My automated response is typically: "Yes. If you see my sanity running around anywhere, could you catch it and bring it back up to the front for me? Thanks."
