Bogut is a talented player and should have a solid NBA career. He might not end up being hte best player taken in this draft, but he is probably one of the players least likely to fail...especially at first.

Won't live up to the hype.

I could be wrong, but I don't see this guy as an impact player.

Write this down- Bogut will be a plodding white stiff. 10-12 points max per game (average) in his career. . .he's a decent college player who is a tad slow and rather thin to become a dominant center in the NBA.

Going back in Bucks history, the last time they took a center with the first pick in the NBA draft, they got Lew Alcindor. I'm not saying Bogut is another Jabbar, but he's not a Darko Milicik either. I've seen enough of him in the NCAA and the Olympics (where he played well against Tim Duncan) to say he'll definitely contribute. When you're as bad as the Bucks, you need immediate help and don't have the luxury of picking a player with great Potential but is not quite ready to play. Bogut was a no-brainer.

A very risky pick. Big, slow, white guy from a bad conference? And Bogut apparently had an awful pre draft camp. Not quite sure what the Bucks were thinking.
