The 'Cats took some heat for this pick from those who said it was just because of where he wen to school. Indeed, that is a bonus. I live here and it's definitelt a Carolina town, but he was a steal at #13 for any team. I know my Carolina ranting gets old, but you have to admit, we rarely fail in the NBA. And I might take some Heat for this, but I honestly would've taken him #1. Just on my gut. He already got MVP of the NBA summer League. My gut says he's going to end up the star of this draft. To be honest, I would take any Carolina guy #1 that performed like he did. You know how we do in the league. And, I've been watching NBA tv's coverage of the summer league, and he's developed a sweet outside shot. He was burying college range 3's in the game that was on earlier today. If he continues to shoot outside like that, he'll be unstoppable. Plus, with him and Okafor, I don't see the 'Cats getting outrebounded by anybody. Great pick. How much greater could it be? - ticket sales and a hell of a player. Perfect.

There are faster players, better shooters, and more skilled picks in this draft. . .but there's something about May that I love as a player. The bigger the game- the better he played. Nasty defender with above-average hands. I think he can be a solid pro.

Good hands and a nice soft touch on his shot.May should mold into a good player soon enough.

A nice pick, and Sean May gets to stay home. I think May can compete in this league and will be a nice NBA player before it's all said and done.
