Bossa Nova is really a treat to listen to. As another reviewer said, some songs are truly classic (Girl from Ipanema, Chega de Saudade, etc.) Listen to some if you never have. You won't regret it.

Can be intriguing, although it always makes me think I should be wearing a fedora, smoking out of the corner of my mouth in some dive in Havana, and watching a sultry, hot blooded wench across the bar.

The most under-rated type of music. The Girl from Ipanema, Fotografia and Desafindao (all by Antonio Carlos Jobim) are classics. Bebel Gilberto is doing a good job of keeping Bossa Nova alive. http://bebelgilberto.com/
