Here is a series at or near the top of the heap. John Russell played Marshal Dan Troop, the Lawman. In the first place, the series had the best theme song. The upright and righteous marshal with help of his young pup deputy, Johnny McKay, rubbed out the scum that invaded the show every week. I wish this would come out again on DVD,
