oh these blame everyone but themselves crybabies, they will come up with any blame to make their actions okay. they probably had parents that made excuses for them, or they blamed their parents for everything that did not go good for them. they are probably the ones more likely to sue others in frivelous lawsuits. wahwahwah!

Again, this is kind of overblown from a few isolated cases.

have to have somebody/something to blame. people need to take responsibility for their own actions and if it wasn't the video game/tv/ internet it would be something else to blame

Some of us need to drop the strawman and take responsibility for our own actions.

Every single one of my guy friends (my husband included) does this. Why won't it WORK?! or I DID press x!. Heh. If only they'd just admit that I just totally whooped their !@# in Soul Calibur for the tenth time, it would be so much easier . . . ; )

Try parenting better I say to the parents and take a little responsibilty if you are old enough. I play very violent games on my X-Box and I'm okay. (sort of)

This gets a one because I'd like to think that most rational adults know better than this. While the experts try and prove that video games are responsible for the behavior we see today, most of us should know that people do what they do because of who they are, not, necessarily, because of what they play. I have, for example, played my share of violent games, but I'm a normal, well adjusted adult. I think the world would be a much better place if people would/could just take responsibility for what they've done, whatever it is.
