I don't think anybody should talk on a subject that they don't know anything about. I think there should be research done in order to give accurate info.

One cannot know everything - it's unrealistic and impossible. Be honest with yourself and others - life is too short for BS.

Especially if the headlines were all on the Drudge site.

its really irritating when you know the person is wrong yet they won't give an inch and they get defensive cuz they are embarrassed to admit to being wrong

I like to describe it as selective knowledge. The worst offenders are people who indulge themselves based on what they WANT to know. I don't want to know how it's gone wrong, just pretend, or delude success.

I find myself guilty of this one, and as such, it does bother me. In my defense, a lot of my co-workers don't bother to even read the headlines, but it is awkward when one of them has, and has learned something that I do not know.
