How can something come from nothing? Everything has a designer, builder, or creator. This entire universe is no different. I will always believe that God is behind it all.

Creationism and Intelligent Design are one and the same thing. Creationism is sustained in biblical terms while Intelligent Design is sustained on scientific evidence that point to an intelligent factor that has caused the origin of all things, from the Universe to life. Evolution, by definition, denies the existence of God or an Intelligent Designer and it is completely contrary to the biblical views of Creation and the scientific view of Intelligent Design. A Christian who gives in to the false theory of evolution denies the very essence of Christianity.

This is increasingly entering the political consciousness. Political authorities in parts of the country are trying to make it part of the science curriculum. Based on Biblical teachings the world was created in 4004 B.C. It is hard, in the light of modern learning, to sell this as a scientific doctrine any more.

Creationism is being abandoned for the more subtle Intelligent Design. I would assume that the Fundys who interpret the Bible literally must also reject Intelligent Design and stick to Creationism.
