UPDATE: Well, Aristotle, I have been talking to the Jesuit fathers about religion. I first started my new quest when I reacted to the ranting of the moronic dispensationalists and fundamentalists lead by the now departed ADios on this site!As far as the history goes, the Catholic and Orthodox Churches seem to have it right, and since the Pope restored the Latin Mass and ousted the leftos in the Catholic liturgy, I am inclined to join up! Doctrinally, they appear sound!ORIGINAL COMMENT: This, I would gather, is Catholic doctrine or the Catholic Church. Since most of Western Civilization is based upon Catholicism, I approve.

There have been some serious errors in doctrine within Catholicism, but that can be said of allot of churches that use the bible for their own means. The basics of Christianity that is in Catholicism can be found and it is clear and well put out! It’s just the baggage of Catholicism that is attached that bothers me!!! (Must do this or that to get an end.) Christianity and Gods words are simple and it is definitely doable if you follow Christ and not the mumbles of a man!!! Following Christ often get complicated when man putt’s his sixpence in!!! That is were I find Catholicism straying from Gods word!
