07/09/2008 | Ritchie Blackmore should be up there with the guitar greats. This guy is even better than Iommi with Sabbath. This album with Ronnie James Dio on vocals never fails to satisfy.

07/01/2008 | This album has it all......................cod operatic vocals, guitar widdling, songs about goblins, demon kings, fairies, dragons blah blah. Ergo it must be sh*t, and lo and behold it is for sure.

12/21/2005 | A few weak cuts, but some pretty good material on this 1976 album as well. About as good as the debut from the year before, though occasionally bogged down by Blackmore and Dio's pretentious predilection for epic songs about fantasy quests, demons, knights, and the like.
