Devil's Playground (Billy Idol) 5

This album was a surprise. Idol's work has always been all over the place. This was his first album in something like ten years. His batteries definitely seemed recharged on this one.

Devil's Playground (Billy Idol) 5

Billy Idol was such an icon in the 80's. However, I always liked usually about four tracks per album. In other words, he never made an album as a whole I liked. It changed with this one. There is a lot of diversity on this album and it rocks from start to finish. Welcome back Billy.

Devil's Playground (Billy Idol) 4

I wouldn't put him with the heavy metal/hard rock albums. He's part of the original Punk age. That's PUNK, not New Wave [which I also loved, but, I pretty much like everything...still one doesn't really call a Folk singer a Country singer, no matter the similarities]. Though, IMO, Billy Idol, and this CD is more Hard Rock/Punk. And, is worth a listen, if not buying! Rua
