07/06/2005 | Then again, the higher up you get in any field, the more this will tend to happen. You have to be more accountable at those high levels and people are going to be watching your every step. I get that hindsight isn't 20-20 many times, mistakes can be made. However consistent incompetence is also something that has to be watched for. At the end of the day, people judge you for your effectiveness--part of that comes from your ability to make sound decisions from the start.
