On more than a few occasions, this year and last, has carried his team. One of the better active lead-off men around, and pretty solid defense.

Disregarding his hair style, he has been one of the best leadoff hitters over the last few years. He is having another great year in 2005, and deserves his starting spot in the AL lineup.
