07/06/2005 | Probably doesn't spend enough time behind the plate anymore to deserve being the starting catcher, but who else has stepped up recently behind the plate to become a star? There aren't many young catchers that have personality or game changing ability like Piazza out there, so he is still a worthy choice.

07/06/2005 | Sentimental selection. Still a decent hitter, although nowhere near the monster he once was. Defensively, he's a liability.
