Bobby is a good ballplayer, not a superstar, just a guy who produces and helps the team win. He gets more attention when he hits the long ball but its overlooked that he racks up BB, hes in the top 2/3 this year. 18 jacks and .300 plus average, he deserves to be there.

Great selection by the fans. Bobby Abreu has been the most underrated player of the last 5 years and is having a great year in 2005. He always puts up great numbers, and does it with class. I'm very happy that other fans have noticed him and given him a chance to start the All Star game.
