Although these bombings were truely tragedies, lets face it. Katrina killed 1000+ people and these bombing claimed less than 100 lives. Also these attacks were very minor compared to America's 9/11 (obviously this didn't occur in 2005 I'm just making a point).

With boobs like Tony Blair running the country can anybody be too suprised by this. As a leader, he would be like a mole on Churchill's rear end. He is not even good enough to have licked Churchill's boots. Like Bush, he doesn't scare anyone.

A horrible, ghastly series of attacks perpetrated by a small sect of deranged extremists that should in NO way, shape or form be seen as representative of Islam as a whole. Seeing these attacks in such a way would be just as silly as viewing a racist lynching perpetrated by the Klu Klux Klan as representative of Christianity.

Europe is obviously in serious trouble from Al Queda & Friends and may need a non-Islamic miracle to turn itself around.

Terrorism continues to be the largest story looming over all our news reports, policy initiatives and our elections. Underlying the issue of terrorism is the coalescing of a new world order, in a post Cold War world; and a clash not between ideologies, but of civilizations.

Certainly a front-runner of top stories of this past year.

During G-8 and right after London was awarded the Olympics no less. Its probably too early to assess its impact on world events, but its a horrific tragedy.
