Every community needs the village atheist--we just don't need proselytizing atheists.

Many atheists wind up being bigger "religious" pests than theistic missionaries. Many atheists insert atheism into every topic. That is tiresome, sometimes.

It never fails. Any time religion or spirituality are even peripherally involved in an internet discussion, someone inevitably makes a gratuitous and immature statement that soon elevates into a flame war, so I'm glad this type is recognized. However, there are many people out there who are atheists but not Atheists, if you catch my meaning. Perhaps a more appropriate name for this type would be Anti-theist.

After awhile it becomes like any other constant noise and your mind tunes it out.

Extremities are annoying. Even if I agree with them on some points, if you present yourself like an !@#hole, I still won't like you.

Reminds of way too many people I know.
