Double Dipping on DVDs/Too many "special editions". 5

I absolutely hate this. The practice of issuing two, three and sometimes more editions of the same movie is a blatant attempt to grab money, and is very, very irritating to me. I buy a large number of DVD's, many on the day they are released, and it's frustrating when I see the same movie being re-released later, with added footage or new features or whatnot. I don't buy the second releases, but it does irritate me. At the very least, if they're going to do this, then all the releases should come out at the same time, so we can choose.
