I get in trouble every time I say this to my boss.

children say this sometimes may get them in trouble depending on who they say it to. I know of some childish adults who act like this they may not actually say "you are not the boss of me" but pretty much imply the same thing. I can think of an immature 69 year old who acts like a defiant five year. " No! I don't have to do what you say" nobody can tell Me what to do" I do what I want!" she says while I roll my eyes at her. I wonder how foolish this person looks to other people? she acts like this to everyone. she used to actually say these things to a boss she had about 15 years ago. No wonder her ex boss wanted to fire her!

I tell my dogs this all the time. However, I still spring for all their food, vet bills, grooming bills, drive them around when necessary, lavish them with treats and attention and wait on them. Obviously, I'M not the boss around there.
