I don't believe in exotic animals being caged up, but if they are going to be in captivity they definitely need a loving and responsible care taker, and one that has a lot of knowledge on these types of animals.

i guess as long as you have taken your training seriously it shouldnt be so bad , you get to work with animals and get paid well, although i'm sure it has to weigh on your mind that one may maul you one day.

No way I would want to do this job - this is yuck! But for those who enjoy this sort of thing, I'll visit your friends at the zoo sometime.

I remember a show on Animal Planet where this guy was tryin' to feed a snake and the snake bit him in the nads. I tend to stay away from animals that can poison, eat, or kill me.

This ought to be in the best jobs list.

It can be dangerous, and feeding time sounds like an all day job. It's another job that sounds horrible, but at the same time it's not something you're going to just fall into.

No I don't think it's the worst. They are very highly trained in their position, spent a lot of time in school to be able to take care of these animals. If they spend that much time educating themselves, it must be something they truly enjoy.
