George Carlin notes bathroom attendants in his new rules for 2008.

"New Rule: And this one is long overdue: No more bathroom attendants.  After I zip up, some guy is offering me a towel and a mint like I just had sex with George Michael.  I can't even tell If he's supposed to be there, or just some freak with a fetish.  I don't want to be on your webcam, Dude.  I just want to wash my hands."

Pretty strange, but not so awful. At least a fair amount of people with plenty of money are probably tipping you

It's not a hard job to do, but I would think the worst thing about this one would be the boredom. Some places I go, especially if it's not very crowded, the attendant is sitting there watching a little TV, and that's where he is going to be for hours at a time. Even when it is busy, there's only so much they can do, making the same small talk over and over again in the same small area. I can't imagine that it pays that much, though I don't know for sure.

I could be mistaken and maybe it's not a bad job but I sure wouldn't want it.
