I'm glad there are people who have the calling to do this job because I
certainly wouldn't be able to do it. Funeral homes, in my
opinion, are a very cold atmosphere.

Aren't these rather dead end jobs?

there are some out there who can handle this job. imagine they have to require a calm understanding personality and prepared for anything. I think of the series Six Feet Under. the family who owned a funeral parlour. every death and family could be different. i would stink at it.

It would certainly take the right kind of personality, but from what I've seen, it doesn't seem so bad.

this would just creep me out. i believe in spirits and i would be too frighten to be alone in a funeral home with dead bodies.

Personally, I wouldn't want to do this job. However, this is not a job you get into accidently. You never hear anyone say, They had already filled the position at Stucky's. The only other thing I could find was Funeral Director. If you have this job, you sought out this job. Oddly, there are people out there that find it appealing.
