Price/Value per channel 4

Yeah, glad I dumped the crappy cablevision in my area! Direct TV gives me tons of channels, unique radio stations(I like listening to 1940's every once in awhile) and you can see the programming options for days in advanced. You can look up horoscopes, weather or input a name or channel or show & it all comes up! My cable cost me $50/month. The satellite is $35/month & I get so much more. I will never pay more than $50/month for TV service & if you think like me, go for DirectTV!

I think you do get a few more channels for the money on satellite but I have a good package on my cable. Personally I think both are a rip off. Until the companies find a way to have a general basic then let us bunch our add ons, it will remain this way.

CATV, especially Time-Warner is overpriced. Basic cable is awful...might as well use an antenna. I always thought Direct TV was a better deal.

Satellite costs half as much per channel as cable in Phoenix.
