This one is a little awkward. My wife is a hairstylist, her and her colleagues regularly use the word to refer to cutting their clients' hair. As in "I've been doing him for years." "I did her once but she went back to her old stylist." We often get the oddest looks from the people at the next table when we go to a restaurant.
