Been a good enough scorer for long enough to earn a four star. He is not good enough to maintain it though unless he either keeps scoring, or elevates something else in his career.

Peja has not taken the next step to become a great player, and remains just a good shooter. The Kings shot at a championship has probably passed them by, and Stojakovic may have already peaked as an NBA player.

Only thing to keep him away from a 5 is consistency. Known to have a great regular season and then bomb in the playoffs.

Best pure shooter since Bird.... he is my favorite player, and with the experience he gained this year as the number one option I think it is a matter of time before the Kings win the title.

Peja is always one of my favorite players, esp. since the Kings are my favorite team. I love his past and what he's done. He left his home b/c of war and didn't start playing basketball at all until like 13 i think... and ended up playing professionally at age 16. He's incredible, even if he did leave me disappointed in this year's playoffs.

Peja is extremely overrated. His post-season play has always been aweful. He can't make any clutch shot (apart from the one against Minnesota which they lost anyway). He's a pure shooter and nothing else. Every time I watch him play in a game he misses at least 2 layups. Why? Because when you make a layup your body is moving. He needs to learn to shoot without standing in place or making a pull-up. It's like shooting fish in a barrel only the fish isn't moving. Learn to shoot a runner. I'm surprised nobody else has picked up on his scheme and sit behind the 3-point line waiting for someone to penetrate and kick it out for him to hit another 3 pointer and finish as an MVP candidate (which is ridiculous). Although I do give him credit for because he is a great shooter. The problem is you can't win games by just shooting. Look what happened in the playoffs this year. He shot terrible and couldn't help his team in any other way.

Needs to grow a pair!

The coaches are right; he's probably the best player in the game after KG and Duncan.

I am a die hard KINGS FOUANNNN! And I love this over seas player. Already has a Gold medal in the olympics, 2 all stars, 2 time 3-pt shoot out champion, and several other little honors. I think he has a legitament shot at the NBA's MVP this year. But I can't quite rank him at 5, for 2 reasons. #1 Rick Fox knows how to defend him. And #2, he still aint as good as my man Bobby Jackson! GO KINGS, beat the L.A. Ladies and their greatest 3 players in Shaq, Kobe, and David Stern.

Peja is an awesome shooter. He has got to have the purest shot in the league. As of late, he has gotten better on the defensive end too, he is always improving.

Awesome player i ever saw.

Great shooter who plays little defense.

He can shoot, but he is a King....
gummocatkilla 05/24/2003
He's a 3-point machine.

Peja has come into his own as an NBA player. Injuries caused him not to be in top form for the playoffs, and that was a large factor in his now-infamous airball in game 7 of West finals. But he was a major factor in Sacramento's run to the best record in the NBA. An excellent shooter with range, Stojakovic boasts one of the quickest releases in the league. A master at shooting of the dribble or using screens to get his shot, he is fairly athletic and won't mind putting it on the floor, especially if he can get separation and shoot a pull-up. He is a servicable rebounder as well, in particular at the offensive end. He has worked on defense and made himself a fair stopper. The only question with him is his health, and if that airball will mess with his head.

Killer from beyond the arc! Fair Defender, solid on the boards.
ellajedlicka21 01/26/2002
Stojakovic is a pure shooter. He lit the Knicks up last year for approximately 39 points. He is a big part of the Kings' current enormous success.

Same game as the Great Larry bird, but quicker, just watch this guy game get better an better, a serious Pure Shooter, with good movement without the ball.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!

Predrag is a very good player, especially from three-point range. I can't believe he wasn't a starter the last two seasons, but I am glad he is a starter now. He is such a skilled and talented player, especially at such a young age. I hope he stays for a long, long time with Sacramento.

I don't think I realized that this guy can really play until that stretch when Webber was out with an injury. The Kings, contrary to my expectations, kept winning, and it certainly wasn't Funderburke carrying the team. Peja really raised his game to pick up the slack. Then just the other night I saw highlights from the Kings big OT win over the Spurs, where Peja hit the game-winning jumper (after Webber had fouled out). It was a clutch play that showed Stojakovic has some mental toughness to complement his shooting ability.

This guy can shoot the lights out, and unlike many European players, can actually take the ball to the basket if you guard him too closely. His emergence made Corliss Williamson completely expendable - and more importantly - has made the Kings legitimate title contenders.
Munson 04/16/2001
Peja has seemingly come out of nowhere this year to become the second best player on the Kings. He is among the best shooters in the game, but he is really more than just that. He can take his man off the dribble and can rebound pretty well. He's still pretty young, so expect him to continue to improve (which will be critical next year without Weber).
