There's a story, maybe an urban legend, that someone at the Toll House Restaurant was trying to make a chocolate cookie and sliced up some chocolate assuming it would melt into the dough. What came out was better than any chocolate cookie. I actually like the dough as much as the cookie. Best when home made from scratch.

Nestle's Toll House chocolate chip cookies are the best, especially hot off the oven moist and chewy! And with a tall glass of frosty milk? The perfect combination! Yummy!

I love my mama's homemade chocolate chip cookies.
Midwest Airlines cookies are very good also.

Homemade, often very good. Bought, I've never had one that didn't taste like packing material.

The quintessential American cookie. I don't think I've ever had a store-bought CC cookie that comes anywhere close to the home-made variety. They are best eaten while still slightly warm out of the oven, of course with a nice glass of cold milk. The store bought varieties seem to taste either like dry sawdust, or like an English shortbread cookie. I think I have to try to talk my wife into doing some baking today or tomorrow...
