The story is that there was an ice cream booth at a large fair sometime in the early 20th century, I think. Anyway, the booth ran out of bowls and so struck up a deal with the nearby waffle booth - a partnership which made history.

Usually better without the cone, in my opinion. A sundae or a shake beats an ice cream cone just about any day.

Perfect, as long as the cone is an old-fashioned sugar one, and not one of the disgusting "waffle" cones, or whatever they're calling it now. Then again, the ice cream would be just as perfect without the cone...

Really now, doesn't this bring back great memories of the good old days? Remember getting a nice cone on a hot day, and having to make sure it didn't melt and run down the side?
