The neighborhood's buildings are in 1920s style, and house art galleries, restaurants, shops, and more. The Bishop Arts District is now known as a Dallas mecca for fashion and dining.

My wife and went to this reviving area of old Dallas and were impressed. The new shopping areas and restaurants were nice. There are lots of art shops in the area to look in if that is your thing. We ate lunch at a restaurant called Hattie's and were blown away. The service was outstanding and the food was out of this world. I had a pecan crusted catfish with a lemon-butter sauce...fantastic! Check this area out if you ever get a chance...just don't go on mondays because most everything is closed.
