I seen him on Oprah recently talking about his new book that i forgot the name of.  The book sounds interesting because it is about health care in America.

He would be OK if he wasn't such a anti-tobacco health freak.

It's pretty hard to buy that a hack filmaker who has released a string of amatuer-ish parodies of American life could possibly be responsible for the mess America finds itself in.  Sure his films contain selective facts, and his main tactic is to take comments out of context and juxtapose them with contradictory images to make his subjects look absurd (a trick he stole from 60 Minutes, BTW).  But what he is doing is really no different than that other guy who likes to distort the facts and tell half truths to get his message across.  What's his name....George something?

Can't stand him!  The last line on here says it all "his works often contain many inaccuracies."   I can't believe so many people believe this a@@hole!  Anti American.   He only gains popularity by bashing corporations and America, thats why he's hurting this country.  Other countries see this a@@hole and they have a big laugh that he hates his own country that much.

He is using his right to freedom of speech which is good for America but what he has to say is another matter all together. I don't agree with him but like he has the right to speak his mind, I have the right to not listen to him!!!

How is this guy hurting America? He does his research, then simply tells us what he finds. Not liking what he finds does not mean he's hurting us. I for one like to be informed. He doesn't claim things for the hell of it. Whether it's propaganda or not, it's true. But I have a feeling that any reference that told the real facts he researched, would be called false by those who want to believe it's false. So, really, it doesn't matter. Smart people know what's going on.................Michael Moore or not. Ya know? If you like to kill innocent animals or protect yourself, 'Bowling for Columbine is crap. If the truth bothers you, 'The Awful Truth' is crap. It's not rocket science people. If your mind is closed, whatever said against your party will be disagreeable. We have become so dense and stubborn in this country. Whatever happened to hearing somebody's point, thinking it over, and saying, ya know, he might be right? We've become, you disagree with my guy, YOU're WRONG! Facism, people. Think it over. Our Safety is not on Bush's to do list. If you haven't figured this guy out by now, I feel sorry for you. Don't just think liberal crap!, truly think with an open mind. There is a reason recruits go to Iraq thinking kick some ass, and come home thinking pointless mission. And more often lately, not coming home at all. It's sick. They actually have some people thinking win. Wake up, we lose or occupy them forever. Like Vietnam. On Moore, he's not hurting me. I have intelligence. I can hear a point of view and form an intelligent opinion. What's hurting America is the assumption that anything that opposes Mr. Bush's philosophy is wrong. What makes us great is the right to think freely. The opposite is facism. What's hurting America is stupidity. I will not follow blindly because one man said bless or Jesus. Look at England. They've been in our shoes now, and they still don't agree with Bush. Michael Moore is encouraging thought, not sheep. That doesn't hurt a damn thing in my opinion. It's not all about kick some ass, AMERICA, baby! Open up. Think. Read. Because our leader does this or that, does not mean it's the gospel. As I've said before, if we don't get smart, we will fall as Rome did. Go ahead and laugh that notion off. You'll see. I just hope historians teach that we all were not stupid. Some of us understood the path our empire was taking. Besides, if it were not for people's fear of Jesus gay marriage this moron would not be in charge in the first place. If you believe in the anti christ, now is the time to ponder that notion. Michael Moore tells it like it is. If that bothers you, I'm not surprised. Nor do I care. F it. Dig your own grave. We've had our shovels for almost 4 years now. THEY are winning. Trust me. Study history and you'll see what I mean. Me? - I'm gonna give it one more election. After that, if things aren't right..............I'm headed to England, Canada, or south. I just wish I could bring the University of North Carolina with me - the liberal school that by some strange coincidence is the #3 academically ranked university in America. What required summer reading assignment are you sheep protesting this year? )))))))))))))))))))))) )))))))))))))))UPDATE: 3 unhelpfuls in 2 minutes. My point exactly. We don't think things through anymore. We just get pissed if somebody disagrees with us. THINK! You don't like soebody saying something against who you support. We would be better off if you thought, maybe I shouldn't support this guy. Nobody will say I told you so. In fact, I think deep down you all already know. You just can't admit it. Being unable to admit your guy is trouble, is no reason this empire should fall. Feel me? ADMIT IT! It's like a dude who's momma was promiscuous, but will kill you if you say that. Even though he knows it. See what I'm saying? You love your party. I understand that. But their is a time for allegiance and a time for intelligence. )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))UPDATE: 'Eschew', that's the same question I ask of Bush everytime he opens his mouth. Sorry, if my writing wasn't coherent enough for you. Reading over it again, I think it was pretty logical and to the point. Anybody else agree? I don't know, maybe I'm wrong? Sorry if I write with too much passion, and thoughts come to me at a faster pace than agrees with you 'Es. By the way, that was an intriguing opinion you left. You're blowing my mind, man! Moore is not hurting America. Happy? Is that okay with you, Hemingway?

Moores definitely far left and not a person who has helped unite America. He does make people think and question whats going on and that is good. Hes more positive than negative.

Is quite literally a homeland supporter of terrorism. His movie of lies was shown in many Middle Eastern nations as Anti-American propaganda (but smartly banned in Kuwait!). He also compared the Iraqi insurgents to the Minutemen of the American Revolution with is quite revolting.

Michael is trying real hard, but the real people to blame are the American people. At least the ones who have lost values and the ability to raise their children the right way.It is the people who want something for nothing. It is organizations like the NEA who are warping our schools. It is the ACLU that defends all the wrong people for all the wrong reasons. It is the people who always play the blame game and NEVER accept personal responsibility for their own actions. That is what is wrong with America!

I have enjoyed his documentaries because they've made me see America differently. Dissent is most definitely an American right that we have and I think he's done a wonderful job of stating his opinions whether you agree with him or not.

The issue here is accountability. Yes, we all are responsible for our actions and it is for that reason I don't blame my neighbor for my inability to keep any plant alive for more than a day (long story). So in that I spirit I will refrain from blaming Michael Moore for screwing up America. Rather, I blame him for intentionally misleading the American people (something he has consistently accused President Bush of doing) with the usage of shrewd editing and malliciously keeping critical information in his documentary. Does that mean some on the far-right don't do that? No. Does that make Moore's conduct jusitified? No.

This list, and Goldberg's book, which inspired it, are symptomatic of our cultural desire to scapegoat. By all means, let us ignore the myriad complexities of our society, and its increasingly difficult and possibly insoluble problems; let us instead point to our whipping boy of choice, be it Bush, or Moore, or Clinton or Rove or Romero, or whomever, and blame it on them. Sorry folks, I ain't buying. If we're getting screwed up, we all bear a piece of the responsibility.

A guy makes a movie, and it can bring down the greatest country in the world? One movie from one guy can do that? Must be a powerfull guy? Now if THAT shows the level of national security we have, man are we screwed.

Great populus voice of America. Yes he does lean very much to the Left, but he really speaks for the working class guy. He points out hypocracy and asks very simple questions about issues that have become complex. He should be praised more than vilified in America.

Doesn't do much more than preach to the choir. His productions do ask some valid questions, but the lack of objectivity and blind partisanship are just too glaring to ignore. At the end of the day, it takes away from any actual impact he might have . But Moore has every right to say whatever he wants to say. Once we start declaring that free speech is valid only if you don't challenge certain political sacred cows, then we have a much bigger problem.

It never ceases to amaze me how the flag-wavers here absolutely hate someone whose only philosophical crime is asking serious questions about our culture. Yes, it is a great place to live but (1) We are ridiculously violent, (2) the middle class cannot afford health care and (3) we have fabricated a war to impress our geopolitical/philosophical will in the middle east. Perhaps you hate him because you don't like the questions that are never really answered in any coherent or satisfactory form. . . Yes, Moore is a blowhard. . .but why on earth are you so offended by a little blowhard who asks tough questions?. . .Moore's importance is only increased by the insecure reactions he causes. . .
