Joel Osteen is a man of God. We all have a different anointing, whether it be to take a friend to church, to start a new church, or to write books, etc... What I am saying is that his anointing is the ability to connect with people would not typically be drawn in by a TV evangelist. He also very clearly states at the end of each service that you should find a good bible based church and get involved. Can anyone tell me how many people they have connected with and sent to church over the last 5 years? I can count a few, but I can also tell you I have met even more that were at our Pennsylvania church because of a pastor from Texas. People like Joel are reaching millions of people world wide that wouldn't have given 2 seconds into considering going to church before they heard him. I pray that God continues to bless his ministry and the people of Lakewood Church and I also pray that God pours out mercy and grace on those who have chosen to judge. Amen
