Hinckley has been the President of the LDS Church since 1995. He believes himself to be a modern-day Moses or Joseph Smith, as the one true official Prophet, Seer and Revelator for this planet. Under his direction, the Church is spending billions of dollars in new business investments in Salt Lake, including a mall over $1 billion and the Zions Bancorporation that his sons operate, $300 million on Hotels in Hawaii and lives in a member-financed $2.8 million condo. He calls homosexuals sick and diseased, spreads anti-atheist propaganda that slanders American servicemen and women, opposes women finding jobs or having leadership positions over men in his church, oversees the excommunication of history authors who disagree with the official LDS viewpoint and is obsessed with earrings.
