This place offers a great atmosphere and its situated in a more calm part of San Francisco, where it is easy to PARK - this is key. The food is pretty good. They have the best burgers and garden burgers ever. Usually the seafood is pretty good. The service (with the exception of the loser bar tender with a mustache who has a lot of attitude and is unacceptably rude and hopefully by now has been fired) is excellent.

Houston's is a great place for lunch. The tuna sashimi salad is to die for. I have heard from co-workers that the ribs are amazing. The burgers are also good. The service is good too. Nice spot along the Embarcadero

Good place to hit if you're walking along the Embarcadero (and there's nothing else to do). I recommend the chicken fingers (light and crispy).

this place is horrible, i ate there one time, and they served me cold pasta and it took 30 minutes! PLUS their drinks are at least 8 dollars for mostly nothing! i hate this place

I'm surprised how much I like this place. I think it's a chain, it's in a pretty uninteresting part of town, but I still like out. The food is amazing, the service is great, and the place is just so comfortable - huge padded booths, lots of space, nicely lighted - a nice break from the din of some of the trendier little places in sf.
